Exporting Settings

  • Can pro users control the export settings & is there title/action safe guides? I created a spot that looks crisp when exported. But when I bring it into FCP to adjust for my title/action safe guides & trim the extra time that VS adds on, the reexported scribe doesn't look crisp. The color is off. And the original scribe exports @24fps; can I adjust my project to be 29.97fps?

  • In videoscribe version 2, they have (inexplicably) removed the option to select different frame rates. It is locked at 25 FPS

you can LIKE the following thread to request the return of the FPS options: http://help.videoscribe.co/support/discussions/topics/1000032411/page/last#post-1000054094

  • Hi Thao,

I can confirm that in version 2.0.1 the FPS is set to 25FPS.

If importing into Final Cut Pro I would suggest importing the scribe as a PNG sequence which will give you better control over your editing.

This link from Apple has a detailed guide on how to do this - https://documentation.apple.com/en/finalcutpro/usermanual/index.html#chapter=26%26section=6%26tasks=true

    Thanks, Joe

  • Thank you very much!

  • No Problem Thao, happy to help!
