moving animations and simultaneity

  • I'd like to be able to do something like this:

LifeMap Video with a dashed line that runs throughout and between views, pausing and running as needed for emphasis.  Is this do-able in VideoScribe?

I assume I cannot have simultaneous animations such as this video has, but would want Sparkol to include that potential in the near future.

    Thanks,

    Michele Brooks

  • CAN I GROUP TWO OR MORE IMAGES TO WORK TOGETHER.

  • Hi Michele,

we are working on the ability to allow the import of animated GIFs into VideoScribe 2.1 which is currently in Beta testing phase. This will allow animation to continue while another element is being drawn so an effect similar to that shown in the video may be possible in version 2.1.

This video called 'Tree Wisdom' was created using VideoScribe and we also have the tutorials for how it was made.

    Hi Jatindar,

you can only have one image draw at a time at the moment but the introduction of animated GIFs in the upcoming VideoScribe 2.1 will allow you to have a GIF animation throughout the video while other elements are drawn.

  • Thank you.

  • Hi, did this functionality ever get put into the software? Thanks!

  • Hi Benjamin,

You can now use GIF's in VideoScribebut you cannot have simultaneous drawing animations at the same time.

  • hi please am new at this but would love to know all there is to know about graphics and animation i intend to start a career in this line thank u

  • Hi,
For general learning, you can watch all the videoscribe tutorial videos on the Instant Answers page or on youtube, and read any thread in the help forum that you find interesting. If you have a specific question that has not already been answered, please be sure to create a new thread describing your question.

  • Hi,

am I right in assuming that gifs are currently still the only way to have two objects moving simultaneously?

    Thanks in advanced Eric

  • Two objects in the same SVG can move in the same direction, at the same speed, simultaneously in videoscribe.

Otherwise, I believe you will need to use animated gifs or video editing software.
