OK - I'm doing a scribe which is mostly text and I want the heading to stay there the whole scribe..
(next time I won't do it this way - I'll just do a separate scribe of the heading and add it in post. Anyways .. because you can't draw text on then fade it off I'm using a bit of a hack and fading stuff off with a white jpeg resized to fit the image (why don't we have a simple crop feature?)
Bottom line - f you want go back and move an element hidden by one of these white squares you can't without first reducing the transparency on the white frame..
Is there a way of soling individual frames or alternatively hiding unwanted frames?

In the timeline, the Eye icon on each selected element will hide that element:
