I've been making YouTube videos for 8 months and YouTube flagged my content as "reused" due to the VideoScribe style even though other monetized channels are using it. Does anyone else have any information on this?

If youtube's algorithms consider your whiteboard video (or any of your video content) too similar to other existing videos, then your viewers may be getting the same impression. You could try different music, a different background color, or different images, to make your video more unique. If you are not using a voiceover, then adding an original voiceover may also be an important step.
You may also be able to search for more specific information about how youtube evaluates reused content, so you can make more informed decisions about improving your video.
