Export to After Effects / Lottie

  • I know there is a topic on this already, but I will frame it differently.

I would like to save a VideoScribe animation as an After Effects project, where the project would include Shape layers, with the drawings + a Trim Paths animator for the write on effect.

Many recent developments have been in terms of AE's Import - Export capabilities, namely Lottie, which is open source and allows exporting and importing SVG animation.

I've been exploring the VideoScribe project file (it's essentially a zip file with a .scribe extension), and inside there seems to be only an xml with SVG animation and some encoded data. Perhaps this data could be parsed and converted to After Effects or Lottie?

    Thanks
