once i've rendered the project , I can't find how to edit the project.

If you have videoscribe open, and you render a video, then you can just continue to edit the current project in videoscribe.
If you do not have videoscribe open, but you have the project saved on your computer, open videoscribe, then you can use the first screen in videoscribe to open the project in videoscribe and edit it.
(If someone else made a project and just gave you a video, you cannot open or edit a video in videoscribe.)
