Start your video with something on screen

Last updated: 12 October 2017

How to set your video up so the first frame is an image or some text rather than the blank canvas

If you are still using v2 of VideoScribe, you can download the latest version of the software from your account. Alternatively the v2 version of this instant answer is available here.

Step 1. Once your images or text are on the canvas select the first element on the timeline and click 'Drawing Options' (A) from the menu.

Step 2. Reduce the Animate time to 0 seconds (B).

This image will now be on screen when your video starts. The rest of the images will then be drawn as normal after that. If you would like to more than one element to show at the start then apply the Make images appear together instructions to the elements at the beginning of your scribe project.
