Import fonts (old version)

Last updated: 25 September 2017

You can import any font you have installed on your computer into VideoScribe and apply this to the text in your project.

Please note: If this font is not yet installed on your computer you will need to download and install it. Always make sure you have permission to use a font, especially if you are using it for commercial purposes.

Step 1. Click on the ‘T’ button at the top of the screen (A)

Step 2. Type the text you want displayed (A) then click on the ‘F’ button (B)

Step 3. Choose the font you want to use

The fonts already imported into VideoScribe will appear highlighted blue (A). The fonts installed on your computer but not imported into VideoScribe will appear underneath with no highlight. You can scroll through these fonts by clicking on the dots below (B). Click on a font you want to install.

Step 4. Choose which characters to install

By default VideoScribe will automatically install the basic character set (400 of the most commonly used English and Latin characters) (A). If you want to, you can add more from the 6 options found below.

Please note: the more characters you install, the more memory you use. To finish press the tick (B).

Step 5. VideoScribe will import your chosen characters. Progress will be shown (A)

Step 6. Your chosen font will be applied to the text you have prepared (A). Click on the tick to add it to the canvas (B)

Step 7. Your text will be displayed on the canvas (A)

If you want to change the font again, you can click on properties (A) then the 'T' button (B) to choose another font.
